Băciucu – Rara de Retiș
Satul Retiş, judeţul Sibiu, aparţine administrativ de comuna Brădeni aflându-se la cinci kilometri sud de ea pe drumul către Bărcut. Atestată din 1349 asezarea este strâns legată de trecerea saşilor prin Transilvania. De aici este și Ion Baciu care de generaţii învaţă cu încăpăţânare pe copiii, de diferite vârste şcolare, jocurile tradiţionale din Retiş.

Teza era ca in pictura bisericii, in supliciul lui Iisus Christos este reprezentat de fapt Dimitrie Tichindeal sub forma scenei torturarii lui Gheorghe Doja. Motivele: similitudinea de nume si asemanarea intre portrete, mai mult ipostazele personajelor aminteau de Doja iar multi dintre soldati sunt imbracati in uniforme craiesti.
